( Magnus had said what Alec thought he had wanted to hear. He wasn't just another mortal to Magnus. Alec had spent so much time thinking what it would be like for him, to age as Magnus remained the same, young and beautiful. But what would that be like for Magnus? To watch Alec grow old and die and be left here without him. Magnus had been through it before and this may be Alec's first relationship but even he knew that what they had...it was special, hard to even put into words.
